Words to consider

“When it comes to theory, I’m mostly leary, it is what I feel that is mostly real.”

These words were spoken to me today on the island of Molokai by a tour guide named Keihi.  I give full credit to him, but I think its worth thinking about.  No matter what is going on in your life the only litmus test is how you feel.  Deep within us is a guidence system which is infallible.  Sometime we work overtime to override that guidence, and when we do we pay the price.  I often think of this when I am questioning my own integrity about an issue.  My voice can get very loud, but the still small voice within never shouts, hollers or stomps its feet, it just stands its ground.  I tend to believe this voice is much greater than anything I would call my conscience, in fact I will go so far as to say I believe it is the entire Universe speaking through me.

What about you?  Do you believe we have an unshakeable connection with the Universe, or do you think we are pretty much on our own when it comes to guidence?

Therory is someone else’s idea.  What you feel is your idea.  I guess the question comes down to this; do you believe what you feel more than what someone else tells you?  I think this comes right into the ideas in It’s All About Me.  Give it a read!
