I Feel So Lost

Have you ever felt like you are lost in life?  Have you ever felt you have no control over what is happening in your world?  Perhaps you are not lost at all, perhaps what is happening is you have become so wrapped up in what you think others want you to do that you have forgotten what it was you wanted to do in the first place.

It is so easy to get caught-up in living moment to moment, taking care of the family, taking care of the job, taking care of the shopping, taking care of everyone else, yet forgetting that you came here to do and be yourself!  If we get so wrapped up in doing and being for others that we forget we too have a place in this wonderful life we actually deprive those other activities and people of the spectacular contribution we can add to their lives and experiences beyond serving their needs.

It is time to take a moment and remember how much you contribute to the world. Even when you are forgetting yourself you are contributing to the world.  If this is true, how much more can we contribute to the world if we are standing in our own power and glory!   You are on this planet to bring something unique.  Your view of life is not only valid, it is important.  Your thoughts, your feelings, doubts and fears, they are all uniquely yours even if others are having similar experiences.  You are made in greatness, no matter what you do.

While in India recently I saw the remnants of the old caste system and witnessesed how as a society people are marginalized.  This is true in America as well.  We are marginalized based upon gender, religion, ethnic heritage and so much more.  Don’t let yourself be marginalized, you are unique, valuable, and essential to the world.
