Are your frustrated with the way your life is going? Do you feel like everyday is Groundhog Day, and like Bill Murray, nothing ever really changes? Same old job, same old car, same old friends? Simply put, the issue is not with your job, or your friends, or your car, the issue is within you, and that means you are in the perfect place to make the changes.
Nothing will change
Nothing will change until you change something about yourself. It may be your hairstyle, it may be the clothing you wear, it could be the same old places you visit all the time. Ending your feeling of being frustrated begins with the most subtle of changes. If you drive home the same way everyday, or take the same train or bus, allow yourself to take a different route. Guys, if the same old suit style has become a rut, try a three-piece suit. Ladies; you already know how powerful a change in hairstyle can be, give it a try. If the same-old same-old is getting you down, build a new model of who you are!
Creatures of habit
We tend to be creatures of habit; we shop the same stores, listen to the same music, socialize with the same crowd. To build a new model, to get over being frustrated, you must find a way to alter these old habits. You can be certain there are some around you who will not appreciate your attempt at change; it threatens their own habits, but you are living your own life–make it yours! The first thing to do when you feel you are in a rut is to stop digging that rut deeper.
A spiritual change
In my spiritual group we have a tried and true saying; “If you keep doing what you are doing, you will keep getting what you are getting.” A simple thought, not necessarily an easy transition. But it is well worth it. Begin by reading Think, Believe, Receive, three steps to an amazing life. You can start by clicking the book cover below.
