For the past few weeks I have been inviting you to support the campaign to get my next book published. In short, didn’t happen. QUESTION: Am I therefore a failure? to answer this question I turn to none less than Thomas Edison. Ole Tom is quoted as saying “I have not failed, I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Ok, I have not tried that many, but the point remains the same. This way did not work.
Certainly there have been times in your work when things did not come together as you had hoped. There are two ways to fail: 1) to not try at all, and 2) to let what appear to be unsuccessful attempts stop you cold. Mr. Edison also said ” Many of Life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
Yes, It’s All About Me is still ready for publication. How will that happen? I trust the answer will come to me, perhaps through you? Meanwhile, let’s keep on trying, success is just a right step away.
